Queens Theatre's THEATERAMA! series, celebrating the 60th and 85th Anniversaries of the World's Fairs in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, culminates with a benefit performance of The World’s Fair Plays – Revisited!, an evening of short play readings by some of the country’s most acclaimed writers, celebrating the rich heritage and vibrant culture of the two New York World’s Fairs.

Written by Camilo Almonacid, Todd Almond, Jenny Lyn Bader, J. Stephen Bradley, Kristoffer Diaz, Mashuq M. Deen, Halley Feiffer, Craig Lucas, Wendy MacLeod, Harrison David Rivers, Caridad Svich and Lauren Yee, the plays were commissioned to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the World’s Fairs in 2014, and the resulting production was a New York Times Critic’s Pick. The World's Fair Plays - Revisited! features a diverse ensemble of characters who remember, imagine and experience the World’s Fairs. American history, progress, protests, robots and time-capsules commingle in a captivating mix of tenderness, longing and joy.
