Queens Theatre is located in the heart of Flushing Meadows Corona Park, directly under the iconic observation towers of the New York State Pavilion (which you might recognize from The Wiz, Men in Black or Iron Man 2). Our facilities are convenient to both LaGuardia and JFK airport and are easily accessed by public transportation and by car.

Nearby landmarks include CitiField (home of the New York Mets), The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (home of the US Open), the Unisphere, Queens Museum, the New York Hall of Science, and the Queens Zoo.

By Subway

The closest NYC Subway Station is the Mets-Willets Point station on the #7 line, which is located above Roosevelt Avenue, next to CitiField, the home of the New York Mets. From the station, it's a 15-20 minute walk through Flushing Meadows Corona Park to Queens Theatre. A Subway Shuttle operates at street level under the station at select performances. See below for more information on the Shuttle and walking directions.

The 7 runs from Hudson Yards and along 42nd Street in Manhattan, and along Queens Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue in Queens.

Transfers to the 7 in Queens are available from the E/M/G lines at Court Square, the N/W lines at Queensboro Plaza, and the E/F/M/R lines at 74th Street-Broadway.

Service Changes

The 7 often has service modifications for construction and maintenance on nights and weekends. Check out the MTA's Planned Work page when planning your trip to Queens Theatre.

By Long Island Rail Road

The Port Washington Line of the Long Island Rail Road can be taken to the Mets-Willets Point station from Penn Station, Grand Central Station, or 61st Street-Woodside. Please note the station is separate from the Subway station, and the Shuttle Service is not accessible from the LIRR station. Queens Theatre is a 10-15 minute walk away through Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Free Shuttle Service from 7 Train

Queens Theatre operates a Shuttle Service between the theatre and the Mets-Willets Point #7 Train Subway Station, beginning one hour prior to curtain for all Queens Theatre Presents shows. Please note that unless specified on the event page, the shuttle does NOT run for Visiting Presenter performances at Queens Theatre. Exit the station and turn left after the turnstiles to meet the shuttle at street level. See the below Walking Directions section for a visual reference.
