Venue Rentals
Queens Theatre features four versatile spaces available to rent for your event - stage productions, dance recitals, concerts, film screenings, TV and film shoots, private parties, business conferences and more.
The facilities are centrally located in the heart of Flushing Meadows Corona Park, convenient to both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy Airports, easily accessible by car on the Grand Central Parkway, the Long Island Expressway, and the Van Wyck Expressway, and offers ample, convenient, and free parking. By mass transit, Queens Theatre is nearby to the Mets-Willets Point station on both the New York City Subway (on the 7 line to Flushing) and the Long Island Rail Road (on the Port Jefferson Line), and proximate to several bus lines.

The Claire Shulman Theater
At 472 seats, the Claire Shulman Theatre, named for the legendary Queens Borough President, has the ability to make each of your guests feel like they have the best seat in the house. Renovated in 1993, the Shulman features a proscenium /thrust stage, lavish legroom, and an intimate feel that makes this the perfect venue for your next seminar, product launch, concert, or full theatrical production.
The Studio
This 90-seat, black box style theatre is a flexible space, outfitted with stage lighting and sound equipment that can assist in taking your event to new heights. Capable of hosting nearly everything, from a lecture, workshop, rehearsals, or an intimate theatrical production. Please note the default set up of the Studio includes two rows of seating on the left side wall not depicted in this image.
The Studio Theater is not available for public performances for approximately six months starting in January 2025 due to an anticipated construction project. The space may still be used during this time as a holding area for a large company holding an event in the Shulman Theatre.
The Cabaret
Dark tones and adjustable lighting create a swanky setting for a private VIP event, pre- or post-show reception or company cocktail party. This hot spot, with its built-in bar and flexible seating, can turn your next birthday party or business presentation into an event to remember.

- Stand and mingle cocktail party: 90
The Nebula Lobby
Built in 2010, our award-winning glass-walled lobby, with its sweeping views of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, provides the perfect spot for any gathering. With an open floor plan, Italian marble floors and sleek modern design, this bright, airy, 2,800 square foot space can accommodate sit-down dinners, cocktail receptions and more.

- 100 for seated dinner/banquet
- 220 for audience style seating
- 350 for stand-and-mingle cocktail party
