Don't miss WQXR's FREE Classical Kids Fair - returning to Queens Theatre for its third year! Join us for a fun-filled day of live performances, an instrument “petting zoo,” dance and songwriting workshops, arts & crafts, and more, in partnership with a range of cultural institutions and artists. The event is part of WQXR’s ongoing mission to celebrate classical music’s next generation of artists and audiences, and share pathways for kids to experience the joy, fun, and wonder of classical music.

Performers include musicians from the Copland School of Music, The Knights, Louis Armstrong House Museum, Music From China, and Musiquita, along with teaching artists from the Queens Theatre.  You can also learn about sounds and science with Terrestrials, a spin-off nature show podcast from the team at Radiolab, and flutist Emi Ferguson will read from her new children's book, Iconic Composers.
