Don't miss WQXR's FREE Classical Kids Fair - returning to Queens Theatre for its third year! Join us for a fun-filled day of live performances, an instrument “petting zoo,” dance and songwriting workshops, arts & crafts, and more, in partnership with a range of cultural institutions and artists. The event is part of WQXR’s ongoing mission to celebrate classical music’s next generation of artists and audiences, and share pathways for kids to experience the joy, fun, and wonder of classical music.

Recommended Ages
4-12 years old

Performers include musicians from the Copland School of Music, The Knights, Louis Armstrong House Museum, Music From China, and Musiquita, along with teaching artists from the Queens Theatre.

There will also be a special storytime with Emi Ferguson, flutist and host of WQXR's new children’s program, Once Upon A Composer.
