Renowned for her passion and trailblazing contributions to Flamenco, Siudy Garrido is a celebrated figure in the world of dance. Beginning at age 5, she trained in her native Venezuela and in Spain, where she absorbed the traditional techniques of Flamenco greats. By 9, she was performing with Flamenco icon Joaquin Cortes, showcasing early signs of her destined stardom. In 2000, Garrido founded the Siudy Flamenco Dance Company, which became a catalyst for her innovative explorations within Flamenco.

Two-time Latin Grammy nominee and an award-winning choreographer Garrido lead the creation of 5 productions. The company's standout productions, including Flamenco Intimo and Entre Mundos, have received critical acclaim for their fusion of classic and contemporary elements, reflecting her distinctive choreographic style.

Garrido's collaborations are a testament to her versatility, having worked with the likes of Cirque du Soleil, the Pittsburgh Opera, and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, as well as performing with flamenco icon Antonio Canales and Farruquito. Her performances at esteemed venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, and her features on NBC's "World of Dance," have solidified her status as a Flamenco virtuoso.

Additionally, her collaborations with stars such as Diego el Cigala, Niña Pastori and Alejandro Sanz and appearances at high-profile events like the Latin Grammy' Person of the Year Gala further highlight her influence in both the Flamenco and broader artistic communities.

Through her company and her international collaborations, Siudy Garrido continues to honor Flamenco's legacy while pushing the boundaries of its expression, drawing new audiences to the art form's vibrant heart and soul.
