Relaxed Performances

Sensory friendly performances are specially modified performances designed to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism, or other developmental or cognitive conditions, and their families.

At a sensory friendly performance, sound levels are softened, startling or loud special effects are subdued or eliminated, and the house lights remain on at a low level, creating a more relaxed audience environment where movement and noise are accepted. Designated quiet areas are available as well.

Sensory friendly performance benefit individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and other developmental or cognitive conditions, as well as their families and caregivers.
