The Future Classics Festival is a developmental platform for BIPOC playwrights and theatre makers to develop new work under the guidance of Titan Theatre Company's artistic leadership team. The mission of this venture is to amplify the voices and unique stories of BIPOC playwrights and theatre makers, and move Titan Theatre Company towards a more representative body of work. Titan Theatre Company's Future Classics Festival will be a celebration of voices that reach beyond the span of the classical canon.

Tickets: $12 (includes fees*)
* Fees: All tickets include a $2 per ticket service fee. For delivery by USPS, an additional $5 per order fee is applied. When tickets are purchased in person at the Queens Theatre Box Office, the service fee is waived.

In The Bronx Brown Girls Can See Stars Too (or The F*ck is You Lookin' At) navigates the lives of five young women who in order to avoid juvi need to complete a theater workshop as community service. Through a series of theater games, the girls redefine the meaning of girl gang, friendship and what it means to reach for the stars.

Genesis

Genesis, a prequel to A Raisin in the Sun, is set during the 1918 race riots in Chicago. The play centers around a couple who tragically loses their unborn child. As they both grapple with their grief and the societal pressures of their time, their relationship becomes strained. Lena is forced to confront her own biases and beliefs as she navigates the world and her relationship with not only her husband, but of the close friendships around her. In the end, They must choose whether their loss will drive them apart or bring them closer together.
