Five short documentary films exploring the international multidisciplinary artist Sook Jin Jo's diverse and dynamic work, including her work with sculpture, installation, performance art and architecture. Interviews with the artist feature an in-depth discussion of her architectural installation in Tipitapa, Nicaragua as well as her overall body of work and include footage of her collaborative performance work with the award winning composer and clarinetist, Derek Bermel in South Korea and Brazil. Screened works include Sejong's Dream, Art House Chapel, Crossroads, Fantasy in D Minor, and Interview with Sook Jin Jo.

Meet the artist


Sook Jin Jo is a multidisciplinary artist. Jo has exhibited internationally; her 35 solo exhibitions include Huntington Museum of Art in West Virginia, Seoul Museum of Art in Korea, Tenement Museum in New York, Arko Art Center in Seoul, and her group exhibitions include Changwon Sculpture Biennale, Lodz Biennale in Poland and Gwangju Biennale. Jo’s work can be seen in public collections, including National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Korea, Los Angeles Metro Detention Center (California), the margulies collection at the WAREhOUSE (Florida), Husatonic Museum of Art (Connecticut), and Chapel <Art House> in Tipitapa, Nicaragua.
