Willy Mosquera

House Manager
Willy has worked at Queens Theatre for the last 21 years. He started as a stagehand and bartender for cabaret shows in the Studio Theatre and since then has served as Associate Director of Programming for the Latino Cultural Festival, Director of Public Affairs, and is currently the theatre’s House Manager.  He has also been instrumental in bringing many artists to Queens Theatre over the years including a series of performances in the Cabaret in spring 2010. In 2004, Willy was named “The City’s Nicest Guy” by the Daily News and in 2007 appeared on Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” during which the show’s hosts transformed his unique personal style and redecorated his home.  In his spare time, Willy is a musician and his latest CD, “Poemas de mi Padre,” was recently selected as a first-round nominee within six categories of the Latin Grammys.  Willy looks forward to being part of the next stage of Queens Theatre’s success alongside the theatre’s new Executive Director and team.
