Scott received his BFA degree from The University of Texas at Austin and attended the MFA program at the University of California, Irvine. His career has taken him across the United States in many facets of the not-for profit and commercial entertainment industries; as well as major national and international corporations. His work has been seen both on stage and behind the scenes on Broadway and in regional theatre. Scott has been employed as the Entertainment Manager for Universal Studios Orlando; Director of Production and Operations for Hey City Theater in Minneapolis, MN, Portland, OR, Cleveland, OH and Salt Lake City, UT; General Manager for Granbury Opera House in Granbury, TX; Vice President, Operations for Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR; Executive Director for Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport, RI and as Executive Director for Theatre Victoria and the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts in Victoria, TX.
