Queens Theatre is excited to announce its new, free training program specifically for early-career Deaf and disabled actors with its Theatre For All Initiative. The two-week, free program runs Sept. 16 to Sept. 28 and will include workshops on Acting for the Camera and Stage, Auditioning and Movement among others. Aug. 22 is the deadline to apply for this first session.
Queens Theatre is thrilled to announce the date of our Annual Gala, taking place on May 23, 2018 at 6pm! This year, we are honoring Gary Kesner of Silvercup Studios and Marcie Kesner of Kramer Levin Neftalis & Frankel LLP. Cocktail hour and silent auction will begin at 6pm, followed by remarkable performances in the Clair Shulman Theatre at 7:30pm. Park Plays is a festival of ten short plays exploring and celebrating the events, environs, and denizens of Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Five plays will be commissioned from internationally known playwrights, and half will be selected from an open submissions process.
