Summertime and the free music options are easy.
Queens Theatre is once again partnering to bring Live @ the Gantries in Long Island City during July and August.
Every Tuesday from July 10 to Aug. 28 head to Gantry State Park in Long Island City for an eclectic mix of musical styles and dance performances.
Shows get underway at 7pm.

Aug. 21: The Chuck Braman Quintet―Reimagined Jazz Classics from the famed Blue Note Recordings
Aug. 28: Supermambo―A Vibes tribute to Tito Puente.
Live at the Gantries is sponsored by NYC Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer.
Other partners include Plaxall, NYC Cultural Affairs, New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Kupferberg Center for the Arts, and Queens Theatre.
Gantry State Park is located on the East River at 4-09 47th Road in Long Island City, not far from the Vernon Blvd.-Jackson Ave. subway stop of the 7 train.
