Following its 12-show run at Queens Theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan in Brief(s) ships off to Edinburgh, Scotland where it will play the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 2-27. The largest arts festival of its kind in the world, this year's Fringe will feature 2,695 shows in nearly 300 venues across the city. G&S will play the Pleasance Courtyard, the largest and most prominent venue at the festival.
"'Queens Theatre goes international'... makes a great headline, doesn't it?" joked QT Executive Director Ray Cullom, who also wrote and directed the fast-paced farce. "This is an incredible honor and opportunity for Queens Theatre, for its work to be seen on the international stage by some of the most influential artists in the world. I'm just thrilled."
